We are looking for some adult volunteers from the community who will join members of the Mary Williams Community Center and work with the elementary-aged children at Jackson-Via to create songs based on life as it was when you were a child and life as it is now. There’s an end-of-the week concert and it’s a lot of fun. You don’t have to be a musical person.  You will be working with the children who will ask you questions about what life was like when you were growing up and vice versa.  Then the Kid Pan Alley folks will put it to music.

The dates are October 3-7 but you wouldn’t have to come all of those days.

You can do one or both of these days:
10/3       at Jackson Via Elementary School 12:45-2:45
10/4       Same

The rest of the week is encouraged but optional:
10/5       Kid Pan Alley will come to MWCC in the morning to write songs
10/7       at Jackson Via for rehearsal from 12:45-2:30
10/7       Arrive at Jackson Via by 6:00 for community performance
